Aloha WDM brother Patrick,
I cannot imagine any parish or clergy would not want to have Knights of Columbus present at Holy Communion and Confirmation.
One of my first and favorite recollection at my own Holy Communion and later in Confirmation (in the 1970s) at Sacred Hearts Church in Makiki-Manoa was seeing the knights with swords raised wearing feathered headgear. Years later I was an altar boy and saw a few more occasions of the Knights in action. This is the foundation that shaped me to join 3 years ago and donned the uniform.
Perhaps our actions today, being at someone's Catholic milestone Mass may someday inspire a future generation KofC as it did for me. Vivat Jesus!

Aloha Brothers... worthy District Marshals, all...
Peace.
The Liturgy is open to all.
Our Knights of Columbus 4th Degree members celebrate every scheduled First Holy Communion and Confirmation Mass in the Diocese of Hawaii, alongside our Catholic parishes throughout the state, wearing their 4th Degree uniforms in accordance with Assembly alignments. We've been doing this for some time; we've documentation, a website, and seven Assemblies.
We've identified a trend in our district. Some parishes (With parish Councils) exclude our Knights of Columbus Honor Guard from their First Holy Communion and Confirmation Mass celebrations.
Our brother Knights must be aware of and prepared to respond to that. Council leaders must immediately notify their District Deputies and Faithful Navigators. They must be prepared to engage the parish and/or clergy. In the event they encounter a problem, they must notify the District Master or WSD.
We must not accept any push-back, precluding Knights of Columbus involvement where appropriate.
Our Grand Knights must engage and establish a deep and close rapport. Please see our Clergy Deskside in-brief.
Please review the email chain below. This is the third... a trend we must respond to. You will see, in reverse, the initial email, the council's response, a response in between, and the final response and appreciation.
Vivat Jesus,
br patrick.
