Annual Memorial Day Ceremony
There are two events: the Mayor's Memorial Day Ceremony, held in the morning at Punchbowl, and the Governor's Memorial Day Ceremony, held in the afternoon at Kaneohe.
Typically, the State Deputy or District Master (or both) presents a Wreath or Lei at one or the other.
There is so much more our Patriot Degree can, and should do to honor our Veterans. First of all, we need to be present for both. We will divide and conquer.
Sir Knights of Assembly 1826 and 3221 will plan and coordinate service and support for the Mayor's Memorial Day Ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery at Punchbowl.
Sir Knights of Assembly 1577, 3844, and 3894 will plan and coordinate service and support for the Governor's Memorial Day Ceremony at the State Memorial Cemetery, Kaneohe.
Predicated on coordination, here are some tasks:
- Knights can be a part of the Color Corps
- Knights can be a part of the Honor Guard
- Knights can provide escort w/ swords, wreath/lei presenters
- Knights can assist with registration of guests/RSVPs
- Knights can provide bottled water

Its up to our Faithful Navigators and Assembly officers to ensure that "Visible Arm of our Order" is a constant.
